“We’re excited to open the doors of Duo Cafe Bakery to all our guests,” Laurel Point manager Eda Koot said in a news release. “Duo pays tribute to our dynamic duo Paul and Artie Arsens, founders of Inn at Laurel Point. It’s about honouring their beautiful legacy to Victoria while innovating and bringing new experiences to our guests, neighbours and team.”

More than just a cafe, Duo complements other eatery options at the hotel which champion local producers and showcase the culinary skills of the culinary team led by executive chef Ken Nakano, a recent inductee into the B.C. Restaurant Hall of Fame.

Promises include unexpected drinks such as Smoked Butterscotch Latte or house-made Karak Chai Lattes, as well as the Daily Duo, an enticing pairing exclusive to the new cafe bakery.

Duo is open daily from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Visit duocafebakery.ca for details.
