Tree chipping raised big bucks

The 21st annual Chip In for the Kids raised $19,378.

The Victoria Fire Department joined the Lion and Lioness volunteers at eight location to collect Christmas trees and chip them for a donation.

Funds raised benefit Easter Seals House in Victoria, which provides a place to stay for families traveling to Victoria for medical treatment.
