Esquimalt ready to rock spin bikes
Esquimalt residents are invited to spin the day away.
Esquimalt Parks and Recreation Services is organizing the seventh annual Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock Spinathon, a rally against childhood cancer.
Participants are invited to sign up a team or pedal hard on their own to ride as many kilometres as the Tour de Rock police and media riders, who will set out on their 1,000-kilometre fundraising quest on Sept. 24.
Spin bikes will be available on Sept. 21, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Esquimalt Plaza outside the Esquimalt Plaza Dry Cleaners.
To register and receive a pledge form, please call Todd Boothroyd with Esquimalt Recreation Services at 250-412-8515 or email todd.boothroyd@esquimalt.ca.
