New paint, fresh outlook
Bridges for Women Society is the recipient of $3,000 worth of free painting and repair services to help update two of its classrooms and give it more of a homey feel than an institutional one.
White Knight Painting announced this year's recipient of its Charity Paint Giveaway last week
Each year, the Victoria-based company invites people to nominate causes they feel would benefit from a fresh look.
“The women who come here make a choice to look at their history and do some personal healing. That requires a lot of hard work, both from them and the staff. When members of the community come forward to help us, we’re so grateful," said Jan Bates from the society.
