Ukrainian Christmas fair this Saturday

Nov. 29, 2012 - Motria Koropecky, left, and Caroline Smudy show off some of the Ukrainian foods that will be for sale at the annual St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church Ukranian Christmas Food Fair and Lunch, this Saturday from 11AM to 2PM. Food will include Kolach (bread), Varenyky (perogies), Borscht (beet soup) and Cabbage Rolls.

Come get your fill of homemade perogies, cabbage rolls, borscht and stock up on other eastern European delicacies at the annual Ukrainian Christmas Food Fair.

The fair takes place on Saturday, Dec. 8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Hall, 1110 Caledonia Ave.

Admission is free, and patrons are encouraged to come early as vendors usually sell out.

All proceeds support St. Nicholas Church. Cash sales only.
