High Bar Gang playing for literacy

A so-called roots supergroup is appearing for a special show June 21 at the Belfry Arts Centre to raise money for Literacy Victoria.
The band, known as the High Bar Gang, has seven members in all, including Colin Nairne and Barney Bentall of the Legendary Hearts.
The concert will feature versions of classic and contemporary gospel, bluegrass, country and folk songs.
Tickets are $35, on sale at the Belfry Theatre Box Office or online at www.belfry.bc.ca/tickets.
