Winchester Galleries is hosting an exhibition of work by J. Fenwick Lansdowne and Tristram Lansdowne, June 3 to 7.

The exhibition includes works for sale, along with the launch of J. Fenwick Lansdowne, a book which pays homage to the late Oak Bay artist’s work, with deeply personal portraits of a man who gracefully bridged art and science.

Edited by his son – who followed in his father’s footsteps as an artist – Lansdowne, with a foreword by Graeme Gibson and essays by Tristram, Robert McCracken Peck, Robert Genn, Patricia Feheley, Nicholas Tuele and Tony Angell.

Reception and book sales are on Saturday, June 7, from 2 to 4 p.m. Lansdowne and Nicholas Tuele will be in attendance.

Book sales are courtesy of Ivy’s Bookshop, Oak Bay.

Winchester Galleries is located at 2260 Oak Bay Ave. Go to winchestergalleriesltd.com or call 250-595-2777.
