Marine garage sale at Ogden Point

The 11th annual Massive Marine Garage Sale is back April 12 at Ogden Point.

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., check out more than 70 vendors with a range of maritime and outdoor items for sale.

Sale co-ordinator Ann Jones said items on offer will include sailboats on trailers, dinghies, kayaks and engines.

"Anything to do with boating," Jones said. “We even get cutlery and china.”

The garage sale is a fundraiser for the Maritime Museum of B.C., but has become an annual “staple in the boaters’ world,” she added.

An intricate telegraphy box will be for sale through a silent auction at the event as well.

Admission is $5, children under 12 are free, and parking is free. Head to the warehouse building on Pier A at Ogden Point.
