Car crash closes Langford gas station

Chevron gas station on Goldstream Ave. in Langford had to close down for most of Saturday, Aug. 24 after a 69-year-old Langford resident drove into the building.

West Shore RCMP say a pre-existing medical condition caused the driver to make an error at about 10 a.m. and drive into the building, causing major structural damage. The gas station was shut down until an engineer could attend to asses the damage.

The black 2006 Acura also had significant damage. No one was hurt in the incident.
