Colwood names new CAO

As of February, the City of Colwood will welcome James Moller as its new Chief Administrative Officer, taking the reigns from Chris Pease, who has been filling the role temporarily as the city searched for a more permanent hire.

Moller has worked as a senior administrator for a number of local governments, most recently as the city manager in Humboldt, Sask.

“Colwood has enormous potential and is on the verge of tremendous change that I’m excited to be a part of,” Moller said in a press release. “Our love for the area and the fact that our family and friends are here reinforced our decision to accept this wonderful opportunity.”

 

“His demonstrated leadership experience in the areas of sewer, water and transportation planning, economic development and public engagement will service our city,” said Mayor Carol Hamilton.
