View Royal talks focus on 2015 election, neighbourhood issues

The View Royal Community Association is hosting a town hall gathering April 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the community hall (279 Island Hwy).

Among the topics up for discussion at the spring meeting are amalgamation, the future of community gathering places in View Royal, how to support local businesses that are struggling with the Craigflower Bridge closure and the annual fall picnic.

This weekend the community association is hosting a separate meeting at the hall to talk about issues around the 2015 federal election. That event happens on Sunday (March 9) at 2 p.m. Refreshments will be provided.
