Wanted fugitive surrenders to police

Jason Garrett Robinson, wanted on a Canada-wide warrant, surrendered to police Wednesday.

Robinson turned himself into Victoria police headquarters. The 48-year old man was serving his fourth federal sentence when he walked away from a Victoria halfway house in July.

Police issued a public notification for assistance in locating Robinson on Sept. 27.
