City of Victoria wins financial reporting award
For the seventh year in a row, the Canadian Award for Financial Reporting has been awarded to the City of Victoria for its 2010 annual report.
Submissions are judged on their ability to demonstrate a “spirit of full disclosure,” to clearly communicate a municipality’s financial story and to motivate people to read the report.
The award is administered by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada, a non-profit professional association that serves 17,600 government finance professionals.
