Arrest made in downtown Victoria stabbing incident
A man was arrested in the stabbing of a 27-year-old man outside the View Street McDonald's on March 3.
Randall Cardinal, 31, was taken into custody Saturday, said Const. Mike Russell.
The two men had been arguing, allegedly over a female, around 10 p.m. when the victim was stabbed in the back.
Cardinal, who is known to police, has been charged with assault causing bodily harm and assault with a weapon. He is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday (March 15).
