Royals Keep Playoff Hopes Alive With 4-3 Win
The Victoria Royals kept their playoff hopes alive with a 4-3 win over the high flying Portland Winterhawks at the Save-On-Foods Memorial centre on Wednesday.
Steven Hodges scored the game-winning-goal in the third period. The Royals kept the Winterhawks from tying in the final minutes of the game despite being shorthanded due to a penalty and facing six skaters after Portland pulled their goalie.
