Victoria police arrest man wanted in Alberta twice in one night
A Victoria man was arrested twice on the same night after two homes were broken into just hours apart.
Kevin Henry, 47, has outstanding warrants for his arrest in Alberta and now faces possible charges in Victoria.
Just after 8 p.m. on June 6, a glass door was kicked in at a home in the 200-block of Government St. The homeowner chased and tackled the suspect while a neighbour called 911.
Henry was arrested and was released on a promise to appear in court at a later date.
A few hours later, around 2 a.m., Henry was arrested as a suspect in an attempted break-in of a home in the 900-block of Meares St.
