Victoria police seek witnesses to Blanshard Street collision involving pedestrian
Victoria police are urging witnesses to a collision involving a pedestrian to come forward.
A 65-year-old man was walking across the street when he was hit by a van turning left from Fairfield Road onto Blanshard Street, just after 10 a.m. on June 26.
The pedestrian flew onto the hood of the vehicle, shattered the front window and landed on the road. He suffered facial injuries and bruised and cracked ribs.
The driver of the van has not yet been charged.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call Const. Ryan Koropatniski at 250-995-7654 ext. 5900.
