A man wanted on outstanding warrants in Alberta will face those charges after being arrested in Victoria.

Kenneth Greenlees was arrested by Victoria police on outstanding warrants from Calgary where he was wanted for assault with a weapon, break and enter, assaulting a peace officer and mischief.

He was returned to the prairie province through the B.C. Fugitive Return Program after his Aug. 2 arrest.

Greenlees’ return was negotiated by the B.C. Fugitive Return Program and funded by the Alberta Attorney General’s Office.

Since September 2011, the B.C. Provincial Fugitive Return Program has facilitated the return of 22 individuals from various regions in B.C. wanted across Canada.
