Firefighters out in full force

Alarm bells at about 9:30 a.m. Thursday sent a full crew of Victoria firefighters rushing down Pandora Street to the VEFRA building at the corner of Quadra Street and Pandora.

They evacuated the building as a precaution, but upon finding no fire, they allowed workers to return within an hour.
