UPDATE: Oak Bay Police find missing woman

Carol Purdy, has been located safe and sound. The Oak Bay Police Department wish to thank the media and the public for their assistance in her location.

 

The Oak Bay Police department is requesting the help of the public in locating 56-year-old Carol Purdy. Purdy was last seen at noon on Feb. 17 in Brentwood Bay and was expected at home in Oak Bay later that afternoon.

She is likely travelling in a white, 1995 Volkswagen Eurovan with B.C. licence plate 024NWD and will be in the company of a 12-year-old standard bred poodle.

Purdy is described as 5’7” tall with a slim build and short, brown, curly hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing jeans, a puffy black jacket and a fuzzy mauve and white toque.
