Victoria taxpayers to pay more for sewage as of April 1
Sewage rates will jump from $1.57/unit to $2.26/unit on April 1 to help Victoria pay its share of the region’s $783-million secondary sewage treatment project.
The formula means the average household sewer utility bill will be $59 this year and $118 in 2014.
