Knife robberies near Langford school

Two males robbed two people in separate incidents near Savory elementary school, Oct. 6.

The robbery occurred around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. A lone male was robbed at knife-point and asked for drugs, his wallet and cell phone. The man turned over his wallet and cell phone.

About half an hour later, also  near the school another male was robbed by two people matching similar descriptions as the first robbery.

One male was wearing a black goodie with a bandana over his face, the second was wearing a blue hoodie with blonde hair and had blue or green braces.

The age and other descriptions were not available at the time of print.

K-9 units were called in, but unable to locate the two males.

RCMP is asking anyone with information to call the West Shore RCMP detachment at 250-474-2264.
