Break and enter at Metchosin Home

A Metchosin home under construction was broken into Dec. 28.

West Shore RCMP were called out  to the La Bonne Road home at 12:48 p.m.

Nothing was stolen but all of the electrical wiring and plumbing were cut.

"This is a unique incident involving a substantial monetary loss to local contractors," said Const. Sarah Beckett, West Shore RCMP media relations officer.

RCMP is asking anyone with information to call the detachment at 250-474-2264.
