Teen girl grabbed in Langford

A 15-year-old female was grabbed by an unknown male on Arngask Ave. in Langford while walking home.

The teen was walking home from a friend's house and saw a man jogging towards her. As he approached her he grabbed her wrist. The teen pulled her arm away and ran home.

"The young female did not speak with the unknown male, nor did she see his face," said Const. Sarah Beckett, West Shore RCMP media relations officer.

West Shore RCMP were called at  5:49 p.m. on Jan. 5 after the incident.

RCMP would like to speak with anyone who was in the area around 5 p.m. on Jan. 5 who saw a thin male about five-foot-eight-feet tall wearing a black hoodie and grey sweat pants.

West Shore RCMP is asking anyone with any information to call the detachment at 250-474-2264.
