Witnesses needed in Broughton Street assault in Victoria

The Victoria Police Department is looking for witnesses to an unprovoked assault that occurred in the 800-block of Broughton St. last week.

Around 12:30 a.m. on Feb. 26, a man was attacked by three people. Minutes later, a K9 unit tracked three people who were found hiding in bushes on Courtenay Street.

Now, police need witnesses to help piece together the crime.

Anyone with relevant information is asked to call VicPD's non-emergency line at 250-995-7654.
