Cryptozoologists hunt sasquatch in Oaklands

Two local Sasquatch experts are holding a forum to discuss the whereabouts of the mythical creature at Oaklands Community Centre April 23.

Cryptozoologists Bill Miller and Thomas Steenburg will present their findings and discuss evidence for Bigfoot, and share stories of their purported personal encounters with the upright beast.

Steenburg's books include In Search of Giants, Meet the Sasquatch and Sasquatch/Bigfoot: The Continuing Mystery.

Miller is perhaps best known for participating in the documentary, Bigfoot's Reflection.

The duo also hosts a Sasquatch information booth in the summer at Harrison Hot Springs, where they run Sasquatch Country Adventures.

The event takes place at 6:30 p.m. at Oaklands Community Centre, 2827 Belmont St.
