Victoria police release sketch of suspect in Memorial Park assault of young girl

The Victoria Police Department has released a composite sketch of a man who grabbed a young girl in Esquimalt's Memorial Park Tuesday morning.

The girl was on her way to school and was walking through the park in the 1200-block of Esquimalt Rd. She was unharmed and fled to school, where she reported the incident. VicPD officers then flooded the area in the search for a suspect.

The suspect is described as:

· White male

· 30-35 years

· Approximate height: five feet, 10 inches

· Dark hair, cut to collar length with some sort of bangs or longer on top

· Facial hair or sideburns to jaw line

· Dark blue or black long-sleeved shirt with sleeves pushed up

· Jeans

· Dark sunglasses
