Victoria's Pacific Tattoo cancelled

The Victoria Military Music Festival Society has announced the cancellation of the Pacific Tattoo.

The Tattoo was scheduled to take place this weekend, July 12 and 13, at Save on Foods Memorial Centre.

It will not be rescheduled, organizers said.

Ticket holders can contact the arena box office for a refund by calling 250-220-7777, or in person at the Save on Foods Memorial Centre, 1925 Blanshard St. Those who purchased their tickets directly from Pacific Tattoo organizers can call 778-440-0395 for a refund.

“This was an incredibly difficult decision for our organizing committee,” said Peter Baillie, chair of the society, “but unfortunately ticket sales for this summer’s Tattoo have not reached our minimum budget requirements and we are unable to proceed.”
