Victoria busker festival heads into final weekend
The fourth annual Victoria International Buskers Festival comes to a glittering end Sunday (July 27).
Over the last 10 days, Victorians have been treated to world-class street entertainment.
With seven stages set around the downtown core, the festival offers non-stop action and entertainment for the whole family.
This year performers include award-winning Victor Rubilar, Guinness World Record juggler from Sweden; Flame Oz, fire artists from Australia; Quatuor Stomp, four circus performers who bring a wide variety of entertainment to the stage; Street Circus, featuring high-flying acrobats, juggling and contortion; Reuben Dot Dot Dot, who presents physical stunts; Strong Lady, an Australian who travels the world performing strong feats; The Checker Board Guy, who walks a fine line between alternative theatre and sickly sweet Disney material; plus many other acts.
The family event is free to attend through Sunday along the Inner Harbour walkway. Buskers pass around the hat at the end of their performances, scheduled every hour on the hour.
