Annual torch run rolls into Victoria

Greater Victoria law enforcement and Special Olympics B.C. athletes will come together along the Galloping Goose Trail on June 18.

Greater Victoria law enforcement and Special Olympics B.C. athletes will come together for the annual Victoria Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) along the Galloping Goose Trail on June 18.

The LETR is a global movement that raises vital funds and awareness for Special Olympics.

Start time is at 9 a.m. at the Saanich Police Department, 760 Vernon Ave. Victoria

route: Five-kilometre run/walk along the Galloping Goose Trail followed by a pancake breakfast by donation at 10 a.m.
