The Southern Vancouver Island Nature Trails Society is expanding its network of comprehensive trails throughout Greater Victoria.

The Southern Vancouver Island Nature Trails Society is expanding its network of comprehensive trails throughout Greater Victoria.

After receiving an anonymous donation, the society is moving forward with a plan that consists of two loops that, once linked, will allow residents to explore all corners of the Capital Regional District.

The north loop extends through Gowlland Tod, Mount Work and Thetis Lake regional parks, connecting back through Bear Mountain. The south loop will be larger and extend through Bear Mountain to the Sooke Hills and back via the Galloping Goose trail.
