Two people are now in custody following a shooting in the Gorge Waterway early Friday morning.
Shortly after midnight, Victoria police and an ambulance responded to a call from the victim, saying he was reportedly shot while boarding a boat in the Gorge. The victim was taken to hospital and has non-life-threatening injuries.
Two people were taken into custody at approximately 6 a.m. this morning.
The initial investigation indicates all individuals involved knew each other. The boats involved in the incident have been secured and ISD officers continue to investigate.
Victoria police said there will likely be criminal charges laid.
