Fletcher’s columns appreciated

Tom Fletcher’s columns are invariably well-reasoned, intelligent and articulate. He is a voice of sanity that I have come to appreciate all the more during the recent HST debacle.

I wish that everyone that voted against the HST would tape his Aug. 31 column to their refrigerator doors. And every time in the next 10 years or so that they feel the urge to complain about the state of health care or education in this province, or about the high taxes they will be paying, that they read this column again and realize that they have no right to complain.

They have brought it on themselves.
