HIGH SCHOOL HOOPS: Spectrum girls rebound over New West in round two at AAA provincials

The Spectrum Thunder rebounded well on day two after being relegated to the bottom eight of the AAA girls basketball provincials yesterday.
Marina Low scored 16 points to lead the Thunder past the New Westminster Hyacks 59-42 in round two of the provincials on Thursday morning, held at Capilano University in North Vancouver. Emma Cunningham and Lauren Yearwood each added 15 points in the win.
Spectrum fell 97-62 to the Riverside Rapids on Wednesday.
