The Mount Douglas Rams capped the regular season by torching the New Westminster Hyacks 43-14, and clinched their first ever AAA Western Conference title.
New West scored a touchdown on the opening possession, but only once more.
Marcus Davis scored two touchdown runs of 47 and 75 yards, his only two rushing carries. Quarterback Ashton MacKinnon hit receiver Brian Dowds for four touchdown receptions of 5, 53, 30 and 60 yards.
James Nicholas returned to action this week and led the Rams in tackles with 10.
The senior Rams have a first round playoff bye this weekend.
The junior Rams host the Centennial Centaurs, 3 p.m. at Westhills Stadium on Friday (Nov. 9).
