The annual Daffodil Cup race for winged and non wing sprint cars and stock cars returns this Friday (Aug. 16) and Saturday to Western Speedway in Langford.

The race draws the fastest sprint cars in the Northwest and is one of Canada’s oldest race.

Practice laps and the front gate are open at 4:30 p.m. with qualifying at 5:30 and racing at 6:30.

Admission is $25 per adult, $23 for seniors and youth 13 to 18, and $11 for kids seven to 12.
