Oak Bay Barbarians finish fourth in B.C. rugby championships

Oak Bay High’s senior boys rugby team capped a successful season with a fourth-place finish at provincials.

The Barbarians lost the bronze medal game to Lord Byng of Vancouver.

Captain James Carson was named to the commissioner’s 15 (the rugby equivalent of the all-star team).

It wrapped a great season that saw them capture the seven-a-side Islands, and retain the Howard Russell city AAA rugby champions.
