North America’s largest seaplane airline announced a direct service to Butchart Gardens on the Saanich Peninsula.
Starting on June 12, Harbour Air will offer “premium seaplane service” from downtown Vancouver to the gardens, providing travellers with easy access to the world-famous attraction.
“This new Harbour Air scheduled service gives visitors a uniquely Canadian way to enjoy our spectacular British Columbia coastline and our world-famous show garden in a one-of-a-kind experience. We look forward to working together for many years to come,” said CEO of Butchart Gardens Dave Cowen in a news release.
Located in Brentwood Bay, the gardens offer floral displays spread across 55 acres, and it was recognized as one of the top 10 “magnificent gardens” by National Geographic.
The trip will include a 30-minute scenic flight from downtown Vancouver to The Butchart Gardens, with access to the gardens via The Butchart Cove wharf.
The tour package, which starts at $499 per person, includes a flight to the gardens, two hours of admission to explore the grounds, and a return flight to Vancouver.
