BC Transit’s Stuff the Bus raises almost 4,000 pounds of food

More than $1,300 in monetary donations also collected

BC Transit’s Stuff the Bus event last Saturday at the Tillicum Centre scored nearly 4,000 pounds of food for those who need it most this holiday season.

The 17th annual Stuff the Bus event saw residents cram a double-decker with 3,928 pounds of food and more than $1,330 for local charities.

“We are very thankful to everyone in Victoria for their generosity and support,” says Jonathon Dyck, communications manager for BC Transit.
