An Oak Bay staple for used books reopens to the public this month after a brief closure caused by the latest wave of COVID-19.
Churchmouse Books on Elgin Road offers thousands of quality pre-owned books across a host of categories. Proceeds support local charity partners and programming to support Greater Victoria residents. The Churchmouse giant Christmas book sale raised nearly $3,000 for local charity partners such as The Food Bank at St. John the Divine, Threshold Housing and Our Place.
The book shop is open Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, 1701 Elgin Rd.
COVID-19 protocols based on current directives will be in place to keep donors, shoppers and volunteers safe.
