Canadian Club hears about Witness Blanket

Carey Newman, creator of the Witness Blanket project, joins the Canadian Club for a special tea next Tuesday (Oct. 15).

The Witness Blanket project hopes to establish a national monument to recognize the atrocities of the residential school system and symbolize reconciliation.

The tea will be held at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, 1040 Moss St., beginning at 2 p.m.
