Embrace storytelling delights at Esquimalt story festival

The ninth annual Esquimalt Children's Story Fest will feature storytellers, crafts, contests and a free children's lunch in the town square

Don't be surprised if you hear the sound of books being cracked open by little hands in Esquimalt on Saturday (Oct. 1).

The ninth annual Esquimalt Children's Story Fest will feature storytellers, crafts, contests and a free children's lunch in the town square behind Municipal Hall, located at 1229 Esquimalt Rd. In addition to a host of children's activities, adults can sip free coffee, and learn tips on reading to their little ones.

The free event, hosted by Esquimalt Parks and Recreation and the Greater Victoria Public Library, happens from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
