FernFest bursts into celebration this weekend in Fernwood.
The free neigbourhood event features live music, a barbecue, market and entertainment.
Local talent will grace the gazebo in Fernwood Square with 15 bands tuning up to play.
The Field of Dreams and Kid’s Zone is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Vic High Field including the famous cardboard castle, face-painting, tie-dye youth station and hamster balls. There’s also a massage tent, weaving, art activities, seniors’ tea and pancake breakfast.

FernFest runs Friday (June 19) from 5 to 10 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Fernwood Square.
