The church is presenting its 10th annual Epiphany Explorations from Jan. 19 to 23

First Metropolitan United Church hopes to provide an epiphany for locals.The church is presenting its 10th annual Epiphany Explorations from Jan. 19 to 23. The challenging precepts around Christianity offer participants a unique opportunity for spiritual renewal and continuing education through word, music and drama, said church spokesperson Marilyn Dalzell.Presenters include Mary Jo Leddy, Marcus Borg, Richard Rohrbaugh, Elizabeth May, Herbert O’Driscoll, Puente Theatre, Martin Brokenleg and Paul Bramadat.Themes include The other Face of God: When the Stranger Calls Us Home; Post-Colonial Christianity; Reflecting Upon the Lives of Immigrants Through Drama; Catching Your Breath in Grief; Culture, Text and Context: Speaking Christian, Then and Now.All events take place at First Metropolitan United Church in downtown Victoria.
