A fundraiser to support children with disabilities and health challenges living on Vancouver Island kicks off this weekend.

The Kaleidoscope Ball (formerly the Butterfly Ball) is an annual spring gala put on by the Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island and includes a live and silent auction, photo booth and stories from local families who have benefited from the foundation.

As part of the foundation’s 90th anniversary, the event will be a birthday-themed party for the whole family. Funds raised go towards supporting the foundation’s work.

The Kaleidoscope Ball takes place Saturday, June 3 from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Victoria Conference Centre (720 Douglas St.) For more info visit childrenshealthvi.org.
