Esquimalt residents looking to take their interest in and connection with their community one step further are invited to attend the Esquimalt Residents Association annual general meeting.

The event, which is open to all Esquimalt residents, will feature guest speaker Coun. Alison Gaul, the group’s co-founder, an open public forum on Esquimalt issues as well as the election of the association’s 11-member volunteer board for the coming year.

The event happens Sept. 27 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Crow’s Nest lounge in the Archie Browning Sports Centre, 1151 Esquimalt Rd.
