Practiced for thousands of years, the Lion Dance is believed to chase away negative energies, scare off evil spirits, and welcome good fortune. The dance was performed by the Wong Sheung Kung Fu Club and sponsored by the Victoria Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association.
