The 20th Oak Bay Artists’ Studio Tour is set for the weekend of April 13 and 14.

The studio tour provides local artists an opportunity to show off their works to the public inside their homes or studios.

Artists have the option to designate their space as family friendly, encouraging more participation from families with children. Families that visit three or more studios will receive a two for one pass for an Oak Bay recreation facility.

“We are excited to present the 20th anniversary of the Spring Studio Tour in Oak Bay and seeing many of the previous participants who have shared their art with us over the years, as well as finding other Oak Bay artists willing to share their talent also,” said Mary Kucera, of Oak Bay parks, recreation, and culture.

If you are an artist in Oak Bay who would like to be involved, fill out an application at the Oak Bay Recreation Centre, 1975 Bee St., or online at recreation.oakbay.ca.

The deadline to apply is March 13, and there is a $45 fee. That money goes towards promotional materials. A brochure with artist images, descriptions and a tour map is scheduled to be released in March.

For more information call Kucera at 250-370-7129 or email recoakbay@oakbay.ca.
