Making a Splash

The 24th annual Symphony Splash attracted about 40,000 people To the Inner Harbour in Victoria.

The event billed as the largest annual outdoor symphony featured performances on a barge that transformed Victoria's Inner Harbour into an outdoor concert hall for a day filling the waters with kayaks and canoes who enjoyed watching the concert from  the front row seats. The family event had activities for children and ended with the Victoria Symphony playing Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture accompanied by bells, canons and fireworks.
