Paddle for the Kids this weekend

The 33rd annual Peninsula Paddle for the Kids is a 10-hour, 64-kilometre journey

Members from the Victoria Canoe and Kayak Club will be circumnavigating the Saanich Peninsula this weekend to raise funds for Easter Seals Camp Shawnigan.

The 33rd annual Peninsula Paddle for the Kids is a 10-hour, 64-kilometre journey that begins at dawn in Brentwood Bay on Saturday (April 5).

From there, paddlers make their way around the peninsula, past Sidney, Oak Bay and Victoria and finally through the Inner Harbour and up the Gorge to 355 Gorge Rd. W., the group's clubhouse.

Last year's event raised about $15,000. To learn more, visit vckc.ca.
